Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy Pirate Twist directly from www.piratetwistgame.com. Purchases made on Steam are governed by Steam's own terms.
1. Who you are buying from

2. What you buy
A licence to download and play Pirate Twist, a PC video game in Early Access, on Windows, macOS and Linux, for personal, non-commercial use. The game is delivered as digital downloads (installers) from your download page, plus a Steam activation key on request, sent by email within one business day. Every update released during Early Access and at version 1.0 is included at no extra cost, delivered by email as it ships. The game is still in development: features, balance and content will change, and you may meet bugs.
3. Price and payment
The price shown on the site is the price you pay, in the currency displayed, with all taxes included. Payment is taken by Revolut on its secure checkout page by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay; we never see your card details. An invoice is issued for every purchase and linked from your receipt email.
4. Delivery
Delivery is immediate: after payment you are taken to your download page, and a receipt with a download link is emailed to the address you gave at checkout. The link works for 7 days; after that you can request a new one at any time from www.piratetwistgame.com/download using the same email address.
5. Right to cancel and refunds
As a consumer in the EU you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Because this is digital content, that right ends once you ask us to start delivery and acknowledge it: before your first download or Steam key request you tick a box confirming exactly that. Until you download the game or request the key, you can cancel and receive a full refund. After that, we can no longer offer a refund under the right of cancellation, though you are always welcome to write to us if something is wrong with the game.
To cancel, reply to your receipt email or write to [email protected] with your order number. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 business days, and a reversal invoice is issued.
6. Your links
Download links are personal to your order. Sharing them, or the installers, with others is not permitted; links shared publicly may be disabled. A Steam key, once sent, is subject to Steam's terms and cannot be returned.
7. Availability
Direct purchase is offered in the countries listed at checkout. Where it is not available, the game can be bought on Steam.
8. Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from a purchase is limited to the price you paid. These terms are governed by Romanian law, and EU consumers also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their own country. Disputes can also be submitted to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
