Description

A top-down naval roguelite where your ship is the only home you have. Fit it out gun by gun, pick your route through three hostile seas, and swing your broadside onto anything flying a black flag. Come home richer, or don't come home at all.

Pirate Twist is a top-down naval roguelite. You get one ship, one captain, and a chart full of bad options. Everything else you have to take off somebody.

It starts as a sloop with a single gun on each side. By the third sea it can be a floating battery, a hull too thick to crack, or a ram that opens a brigantine like a crate. That depends on what you find, what you can afford, and what you are willing to sail into.

Fourteen berths, eighteen modules competing for them. Every chart branches: pirate fleets, uncharted waters, a port under siege, the Chandler's Trading Post, the Sea Cave. Each sea ends in a duel with a named captain drawn from a pool of six.

No cursor, no twitch aim. Swing your broadside onto the target. Chain shot tears sails, grape shot cuts crew, fire shot burns, and a shot through the stern deals more than double.

Lose a fight and the campaign survives: rebuild at Port and sail again. Gold doesn't survive a run, captains do. Five captains, nine skills, and an Ascension ladder that climbs as you do.
